First test launch of the further developed "MK II - Cruzicat pedal boat"

By the end of March 2006 Ken Kingsbury launched the second generation
of the Cruzicat pedal boat called MK II for a first test ride on Muri Lagoon.

The results showed a remarkable increase in using the human leg force
to drive a pedal boat that is able now to cope with wide ranging distances.

Wider hulls give a shallower draft, more comfort for bigger riders and room
for a more efficient transmissions system. The simplified and improved foil
design produce more forward thurst and operate at a more comfortable
pedalling rate. The boat showed a marked advantange over the prototype.
